The story
KOTON × MYTH

01The starting point
Collections take a lot of manual work
Fashion design runs on manual research, moodboards, archive digging and round after round of iterations. For large seasonal collections, that adds up to a great deal of time and effort.
The project tests a different way in: design intelligence that learns from visual references, inspiration boards and historical archives, so a team gets from inspiration to structured design outputs much faster.

02The workflow
From a moodboard to coordinated outputs
Designers build a moodboard from the references they already work with. MYTH AI reads how those references relate to each other and returns outputs that belong together, so a team can explore many directions at once and stay close to the brand’s look.
In the moodboard

- Fabrics
- Textures
- Artworks
- Silhouettes
- Cultural references
- Historical design inspirations
- Textile pattern variations
- Colour palette systems
- Fabric concepts
- Early garment design directions

03Archive intelligence
The archive becomes a design resource
Over the years a brand collects patterns, fabrics and past collections, yet those archives rarely feed new work. MYTH AI turns a static archive into a learning dataset: the models study the brand’s historical design language and propose new concepts drawn from its heritage.
Collections can then evolve while staying consistent with the brand’s creative DNA.

04A creative co-pilot
It works with designers, not instead of them
MYTH AI takes the role of a co-pilot. With the early stages moving faster, designers keep more of their time for refinement, storytelling and product development.
- Explore design directions faster
- Generate many variations at once
- Test pattern and colour combinations
- Build structured concepts from inspiration boards

05What comes next
An early step for AI in fashion design
KOTON and MYTH AI see the collaboration as an early step toward AI in the fashion design ecosystem: finding out how AI can strengthen design teams while keeping the artistic and cultural foundations of fashion intact.
